Virtual Appointment Instructions

Telehealth appointments allow you to meet with your provider securely from the comfort of your home using your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Please review the information below before your appointment to help ensure a smooth and successful visit.

Before Your Appointment

Technology Requirements
You will need one of the following:

  • A smartphone or tablet with a camera and microphone

  • A computer with a webcam, microphone, and speakers

Browser Compatibility
If you are joining your appointment from a computer, please use the latest version of one of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome

  • Safari

  • Firefox

Other browsers may not be fully supported and could result in technical difficulties.

Prepare Your Space
For the best telehealth experience, please:

  • Choose a quiet, private location

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection

  • Charge your device before your appointment

  • Complete all required registration and consent forms prior to your visit

Joining Your Appointment

Step 1: Open Spruce

A few minutes before your scheduled appointment, open the Spruce app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Step 2: Allow Camera & Microphone Access

If prompted, allow access to your device's camera and microphone. This is required for your telehealth appointment to connect properly.

Step 3: Join Your Appointment

When your provider initiates the visit, you will receive a notification through Spruce. Select the green button to join the appointment.

Step 4: Wait for Your Provider

Once connected, please remain available while your provider joins the appointment.

Experiencing Technical Difficulties?

If you are unable to connect to your telehealth appointment, please remain available. Your provider will attempt to contact you using the phone number on file if needed.

If you continue to experience technical difficulties, please contact our office during business hours for assistance.

Telehealth Consent Requirement

Please ensure that your Telehealth Consent Form has been completed prior to your scheduled appointment. If the form has not been completed before your appointment time, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
